What's happening?

-Every insect on my site lived it’s wonderful life on a butterfly farm or in a butterfly garden.
-Every insect died normaly after living it’s natural life.
-For every creature and Mother Nature I do have the highest regards.
-In order for everyone to see and share the magic wonders of Mother Nature in close up is this my contribution to making responsible art.

However: where and how did this whole event start?

It happend years ago when a wonderful blue butterfly caught my eye:
I had not seen such a magnificent creature ever before!
In a frame! In a dusty secondhand store it sat in a frame!
This customer asked about the price, but € 15,-- ( yes, that’s correct!) proved to be too much for him.
Here I became rather doubtful: I was completely overwhelmed and in love  but on the other hand I could not  bare the thought that this magnificent creature might have lost it’s life in a gruesome way for commercial purposes.
So I returned back home but the thought never left my mind.
Thus my dreame became finding the butterfly which had lived a
truly good, natural life.

That’s why I made a study of butterflies and other insects and I became to realise the big differences in insect tradings.  I’ll summarize short and consize.
Two contrasts:
Gruesome insecttrading just for making enormous amounts of mony. ( online much more info to be found).
Or: to people who cherish and admire mother nature: the pro-animal kind of trading.
There is no doubt about the existance of other kinds of trading –  sub-catagories-  but I am looking for the best pro-animal, natural formula.

My butterflies have had every opportuninty to live a wonderful natural life.
Then, in the end, inevetably they die, one day.
And I prepare them so they live on for everyone to see and admire.

My dream came true…….

I receive the butterflies from responsible butterfly farms as well as from a Dutch butterflygarden. Everyone of them is magnificent  however: since they lived and died in a natuaral way and environment they might show some damage or injuries. Doesn’t that just enhances their beauty?
It goes to show you that these magical beauties have lived a good life!
Besides: my buying and selling the butterflies gives the much needed support tot his Dutch butterflygarden.
In the meantime…..
I can  proudly say that I masterd the technics of carfully preparing , dressing and framing all insects and butterflies.
Preferably I work with “dubbel glassed” frames, in order to admire the butterflies all the better.
Our wonders of nature can be seen on both sides in these frames.

Would you have questions about my beauties or are you interested?
Do you have desires or would you like to know  more about possibilities?

And sometimes: would you mind having a bit of patience? I share my hobby in a well-thought manner which sometimes takes a bit of time…

Anyway: please send me a message with the name of the butterfly or insect you are interested in and I’ll respond as soon as possible.
And don’t forget your personal data!

Kindest regards,
Ka
